WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION

American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification is valid for 2 years. 1.5 Hour Course

American Red Cross Water Safety Today certification meets the State of California’s water safety certification minimum requirement for foster care and adoptive parents. Water Safety Today provides participants with the knowledge to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies. The Water Safety Today course consists of a 1.5-hour lecture; there are no in-water skill sessions. American Red Cross Water Safety Today certification has no expiration. Our Water Safety Today classes are taught in Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside County, San Diego County and Ventura County, California.

BASIC WATER RESCUE CERTIFICATION

3.0 Hour Course

American Red Cross Basic Water Rescue certification meets the State of California’s water safety certification requirement for foster care and adoptive parents. Basic Water Rescue provides participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies. The Basic Water Rescue course consists of a 2-hour lecture and a 1-hour in-water basic rescue skills session. American Red Cross Basic Water Rescue certification is valid for 3 years. Our Basic Water Rescue classes are taught in Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside County, San Diego County and Ventura County, California.
