American Red Cross First Aid, Adult Child Infant CPR and Adult AED course will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to first aid emergencies, cardiac and breathing emergencies and the use of an automated external defibrillators (AED). American Red Cross First Aid, Adult Child Infant CPR and adult AED are national certifications, valid for 2 years. 2015 New ECC Guidelines

PREREQUISITES
There are no prerequisites; must have current certifications in order to take a recertification course. The American Red Cross requires the following for successful course completion: participants must attend scheduled date and times and demonstrate proficient skills.

FIRST AID, CPR/AED | Refund Policy
REFUND POLICY
There are no refunds once the course fee has been received. Includes: participants who do not successfully complete the course, do not attend all scheduled class dates and times, do not pass course skills with proficiency (according to American Red Cross requirements) or do not pass the written exam with a score of at least 80 percent. Class Transfer Fee is $25.00. Participants must notify Streamline Health Services of a class transfer, at least 72 hours prior to the first class date (of the class currently registered). Streamline Health Services reserves the right to cancel any class, due to low enrollment numbers. If a class is cancelled, paid participants will be notified 48 hours prior to the first class date, by telephone.

FIRST AID, CPR/AED | Continuing Education Units (CEU)
The American Red Cross offers continuing education units (CEU) to maintain a license and/or certification. The American Red Cross is an approved authorized provider for the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). CPR/AED PROFESSIONAL RESCUER, HEALTHCARE PROVIDER CERTIFICATION – 4 Hour Course
American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer course will provide lifeguards and healthcare providers with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to emergencies. Participants will learn Adult, Child, Infant CPR, 2-man CPR/AED, how to use an automated external defibrillators (AED) and BVM. American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certifications are valid for 2 years.

WATER SAFETY TODAY, FIRST AID, CPR/AED CERTIFICATION – 5.5 Hour Course
Water Safety, First Aid, CPR/AED combination course for foster care and adoptive parents. This course makes it easy and convenient for participants to receive all required certifications in one class. The American Red Cross Water Safety Today certification meets the State of California’s water safety certification minimum requirement and has no expiration.

American Red Cross First Aid, CPR/AED Instructor course will train and certify participants as an instructor in the following certifications: Lay Person First Aid, Adult, Child, Infant CPR/AED, valid for 2 years. First Aid, CPR/AED Instructor is a blended learning format course, with both online and classroom components.

TITLE 22 FIRST AID FOR PUBLIC SAFETY – 1 Day Course
American Red Cross First Aid for Public Safety Personnel (FAPSP) course, also known as “Title 22 First Aid.” The Title 22 course provides California fire fighters, peace officers and lifeguards certification in Public Safety Personnel and Assessment, Medical Emergencies, Trauma Emergencies and Childbirth, which meets the first aid training requirements found in the California Code of Regulations. Our 1-DAY Title 22 classes are taught in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Riverside County, Ventura County, California.
